Nursing
The UNM-Taos Nursing Program, located in a rural setting in northern New Mexico, provides a unique opportunity that transforms the lives of our students into professional nurses who strengthen the health of our culturally diverse community. The nursing program is a competitive program that has had full New Mexico Board of Nursing approval since its inception in 2009. Graduates are eligible to apply for the NCLEX-RN® examination after completing the program. The UNM-Taos Nursing Program has adopted a concept based statewide curriculum through the New Mexico Nursing Education Consortium (NMNEC).
